What's new in HypoMe

Every release, newest first — the features and improvements that have shipped.

  1. Version 3.2.0

    Latest

Finish the experiment, keep what works

v3.2 is about what happens after the last check-in — deciding whether a result is worth keeping, and holding yourself to it.

    • Run a blinded experiment. Label two containers, seal the allocation, and HypoMe keeps it from you until the run ends — then reveals which was which.
    • Adopt a result. When something works, keep it as a practice and answer for it in your daily check-in.
    • Your findings ledger collects every result you've kept, so a year of experiments reads as one record instead of a list of runs.
    • A short retrospective at the finish line captures what you noticed while it's still fresh.
    • Publish a protocol so someone else can run your design, or fork one that worked for them.
    • Design an experiment before you make an account, and see how much signal a design can realistically produce before you commit to it.
  2. Version 3.1.0

Easier to read, easier to log

v3.1 focuses on accessibility and everyday reliability — larger text everywhere, better VoiceOver, and fixes to check-in entry.

    • Body text now scales all the way up with your Dynamic Type setting — no more artificial cap on the text you read most.
    • VoiceOver stays where it should — popovers and fullscreen photos no longer let focus wander to the screen behind them.
    • Custom scale labels announce which value you're editing, and their add and remove controls are now full-size tap targets.
    • Decimal check-in values stay editable as you type, so corrections like 1.5 → 1.7 no longer lose the decimal point.
    • Durations entered with a leading zero now log the value you typed instead of quietly saving 0.
    • The connection banner no longer repeats itself, and signing in is more reliable when the app wakes on a locked device.
  3. Version 3.0.0

    HypoMe on the web

HypoMe now runs in any browser at hypome.com, with one account that follows you across devices.

    • Web app at hypome.com — sign in and pick up where you left off, on any device.
    • New web subscription option — pay through hypome.com if you prefer, or keep subscribing through the App Store.
    • Your subscription works everywhere — a Premium subscription started on iOS unlocks the web, and the reverse.
    • Manage your web subscription from Settings → Subscription on the device you started it from.
  4. Version 2.1.0

    Glass, widgets, and iPad

v2.1 modernizes HypoMe across iPhone, iPad, the Lock Screen, and Siri.

    • Liquid Glass design throughout — translucent cards, sheets, and chrome on iOS 26, with a polished fallback on older devices.
    • Native iPad layouts — master-detail on My Lab, Records, and Discover; landscape multitasking; roomier sheets and forms.
    • Home Screen + Lock Screen widgets — today's progress ring at a glance, plus tap-to-log right from the Lock Screen.
    • Live Activity for active experiments — Day N of M, current delta vs baseline, and the Dynamic Island.
    • Siri Shortcuts and App Intents — "Log my check-in," "Show my lab," "What's my streak."
    • Photo attachments per check-in — capture context as you log (photos stay on your device unless you share them).
    • Now in 10 languages — German, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, and Dutch joined English in v2.1.
  5. Version 2.0.0

    AI-Powered Self-Experimentation

The biggest HypoMe release yet. AI now helps you design experiments, interpret your results, and suggest what to try next.

    • AI Experiment Designer — describe a goal, get a full experiment (3 free per month; unlimited on Premium).
    • AI Results Interpreter — Premium users get an in-depth narrative on every completed experiment.
    • AI next-experiment suggestions after each result; Premium starts them with one tap.
    • Apple Health integration — pick a HealthKit metric as your outcome and skip manual check-ins.
    • Enhanced share cards with QR codes that link directly to the template.
    • Anonymous community sharing — contribute aggregated results (no identifying data) to help others.
    • Weekly summary notifications for Premium users.
  6. Version 1.0.0
